Program availability may vary by school and district partnership. If your child’s school is not currently listed, services may not yet be available at that location. What happens if my child needs follow-up dental care?

If additional dental care or treatment is recommended after your child’s visit, Salud staff will contact you with follow-up information and next steps. Depending on your child’s needs, this may include referrals, recommendations for additional treatment, or scheduling care at a Salud clinic or another dental provider. Our team will work with families to help coordinate appropriate follow-up care and answer any questions throughout the process.

How is my child’s information protected?

We take your child's privacy seriously. All health information collected through our School Dental Outreach Program is protected by federal and state privacy laws, including HIPAA. Records are stored securely, access is limited to authorized healthcare staff, and information is only shared as necessary to provide care, process insurance claims, or as otherwise permitted by law.
